Mold in the humid climate of East Texas is common. Your indoor space should not be somewhere that mold proliferates, but sometimes situations occur that promote mold growth. Because we see so much mold in attics, we wanted to be able to help our customers address this issue when found. By being a licensed mold assessor in Texas, we can test for and detect excessive mold conditions and develop a remediation plan to address them.

As the famous saying goes, “Just add water”. Mold thrives on organic surfaces like wood and the paper backing on drywall when sufficient moisture is present. You don’t have to have a water leak to cause mold growth - condensation of the water out of our humid air is all that is required to allow spores to become an actively growing mold problem.
As mold deteriorates your structure’s integrity, expensive damage can occur unless the mold is detected and properly remediated. Aside from health risks and poor indoor air quality, mold can make a home uninhabitable while repairs are being done.
